Went to see Drew Carey and the Improv All-Stars' Green Screen Tour last night. Holy crap, so funny! It was a mix of standard improv games and some of the bits they do on Whose Line is it Anyway. Drew opened with a little stand-up, which was great. Then they launched into the show, one bit after another. Their final piece was one I'd certainly never seen before: they scattered 100 mousetraps across the stage, blindfolded two players, and had them act out a scene in their bare feet. The best thing ever! There were a number of really great moments, but that's one I'll remember forever. :) The players were: Drew Carey, Kathy Kinney (Mimi), Greg Proops, Chip Esten, Jeff Davis, Jonathan Mangum, and Sean Masterson.
The crowd, at a couple points during the show, started doing the OH-IO thing around the half-stadium, and one of the players said something about the crowd being so good at robotically yelling and chanting anything anyone told them to. Was great. :)
