new bike!

So I got a new bike a couple weeks ago, and of course I took it out for a ride that same day. I hadn't ridden for about 4 years, and I way overdid it. My hips, knees, and ankles were aching pretty badly for about a week.

play!

wow… I haven't been around much. Don't know who actually checks this out, anyhow.

update: was sick. getting better. yay! in the meantime, I've gotten slightly hooked on Travian. It's basically an online civilization game of sorts… you're in charge of a village. Starting from scratch, you have to build your resources and build up your village. Being online, you have to defend said village from other locals. You can form alliances, attack the unsuspecting, establish trade… all kinds of funness. I'm still building resources and learning the ropes. See?
I'm building an Embassy. As you can see, things take a while to build. It's cool, because you set something in motion, then check on it later in the day. Some stuff takes minutes, and the more you build it up, the longer it takes—longest wait I've had so far was about 55 minutes.

but yeah… you should totally go check it out. Definitely worth playing around with. =)

dag, yo.

So I've been working on this one dumb sudoku puzzle for the past few days. It's been kicking my butt here, there, and backwards. Arg. This is the one:

It's from a book called 10x10 Sudoku. They've added a 0 and changed the board. It's infuriatingly refreshing. I had all but given up on doing sudokus... they just seem so boring, once you get it going. But this one got me back in. Crap.

Anywho, I finally finished it today. Try your hand at it. I'm going to go clean or something.
